Turn Your Saved Restaurant Posts Into a Places List

Verified 2026-10-07

If your saved posts are a graveyard of restaurants you meant to try, a muse can dig through the bookmarks, pull out every place, check that it is still open, and hand you one shortlist with ratings and map links.

What it does

Most people save restaurant reels and reviews faster than they can ever visit them, and the bookmarks pile becomes useless: no addresses, no sense of which are still open, no way to find the one you saved for a specific trip. A muse goes through the saved posts, extracts the restaurant names and locations, and validates each one against current listings: Google reviews rating, review count, neighborhood, cuisine, hours, and whether the place is still open. Duplicates get merged, closed places get dropped, and the result is one clean list with a Google Maps link per restaurant. It works for a city trip, a cuisine binge, or the whole backlog.

How to use it

  1. Point the muse at your saved posts or bookmarks: "Go through my saved restaurant posts."
  2. Say: "Extract every restaurant, verify each one is still open, and build me a list with the Google reviews rating, review count, neighborhood, cuisine, and a Google Maps link for each."
  3. Ask it to merge duplicates and drop anything closed or renamed. Review the final list.
  4. Save the list where you will actually find it: your notes app, your trip plan, shared with whoever is coming.
  5. Once a month, say: "Add my new saves since last time and re-check the list for closures." The list stays alive instead of rotting.

What you need

  • Your saved posts or bookmarks, accessible to the muse
  • A trip, a city, or just a backlog worth mining
  • Nothing else

What to watch for

Ratings drift and kitchens close. A post from two years ago can point at a restaurant that no longer exists, which is why the open-status check matters more than the rating. The list is research, not a reservation: do not let it message restaurants or book tables from this list without you saying so for each one. It is normal if handing over your saved posts feels like showing a stranger your taste; start with one city or one cuisine and see how the list comes out before you hand over the whole archive.
