Teach Your Muse to Write Replies in Your Voice

Verified 2026-10-09

If the same questions keep landing in your inbox, a muse can learn how you answer them and draft every reply in your voice. You review each one and press send.

What it does

Connect your muse to your work or personal inbox and show it how you have answered in the past. It reads your old replies, picks up your tone and your facts, and drafts answers to new messages for you. It leaves each message unread so you still see everything come in. You read the draft, tweak it if needed, and send it yourself. Each correction makes the next draft closer to what you would have written.

How to use it

  1. Connect your inbox inside the muse app and give it permission to read and draft, not to send.
  2. Point it at your past replies so it learns your voice: "Draft like I do. Here is how I have answered before."
  3. When a new message arrives, read the draft the muse prepared. Send it as is or edit it first.
  4. When you edit, say what you changed and why. The muse commits the lesson and drafts better next time.

What you need

  • An inbox the muse can read (the ones you answer most)
  • A few dozen past replies so it has your voice to learn from
  • A send-it-yourself rule, kept on purpose

What to watch for

The muse prepares, you decide. Keep the send-it-yourself rule until drafts consistently sound like you, especially with customers, clients, or anyone you cannot afford to misread. It can get facts wrong from old threads, so check any promise, price, or date before sending. Tone is the other weak spot: read drafts aloud once for anyone important. When it is right, it is a relief. When it is off, that is just training data.
