Sign Up for a Webinar From a Voice Message

Verified 2026-10-29

When an email or a post tells you about an online talk you want to attend, a muse can handle the sign-up form for you from a single voice message, ask you about any survey questions on the form, and put the session on your calendar.

What it does

Webinar sign-up forms are simple but tedious, especially from a phone in a car or between other jobs. You send your muse a voice message naming the talk, and it finds the announcement, opens the form, and fills in the details it already has for you, such as your name and email. Many forms also ask survey questions, such as your role or what you hope to learn. The muse does not guess those. It asks you each question, waits for your answer, and only then finishes the form. When the sign-up goes through, it adds the session to your calendar with the joining details.

How to use it

  1. Forward or name the announcement: the talk title, who is running it, and the date if you know it.
  2. Send one voice message or text asking the muse to sign you up and put it on your calendar.
  3. Answer the survey questions when the muse asks. Short plain answers are fine, and it will read a question back if you miss it.
  4. Check the confirmation the muse sends you, and open the calendar entry once to confirm the time and the joining link are both there.
  5. If the talk needs extra software or an account, ask the muse to list what is still missing well before the day, not an hour before it starts.

What you need

  • A muse account, on the app or on WhatsApp, where voice messages work
  • The announcement email or post naming the talk
  • A connected calendar, if you want the session added for you

What to watch for

  • Times are the common failure. Check the time zone on the calendar entry, since talk listings often show the host's local time.
  • Some forms need an account with the host or a payment step. The muse can fill the form, but those steps stay yours to approve.
  • A sign-up confirmation email can land in spam. If no confirmation arrives, ask the muse to check before you assume you are booked.
  • Voice messages can mishear a title. Naming the host too gives the muse a second way to find the right form.
  • The muse handles the form, you decide which talks are worth your time.
