Sell Digital Products and Check Your Sales Through Gumroad

You can connect Gumroad to your muse to check your product sales and payouts by asking, and to draft and publish new products with your approval, without opening the dashboard.

What it does

Gumroad is where many independent creators sell digital products and memberships: an ebook, a template pack, a course, a paid newsletter tier. Connected, your muse reads your store for you. Ask what you sell and it lists your products. Ask how a product is doing and it reads your sales. Ask where your money stands and it lists your payouts. Those reads run without asking, because reading changes nothing. Changes are handled differently. The muse can create a product as a draft, and publishing or unpublishing a product asks for your approval by default. Before anything goes live, it shows you the product's name, price, and description, so the thing buyers see is the thing you approved.

How to use it

1. Check the connection in your muse. If Gumroad is not connected, the muse gives you a connect link. Sign in once through that link. Never paste a password or a code into the chat.
2. Start with reads: "List my products," then "Show my recent sales," then "List my payouts."
3. When you add something, build it as a draft first: give the name, price, and description in your own words.
4. Read the draft back in full before you approve publishing. Check the price digit-by-digit. A live product can be bought the moment it appears.
5. To retire something, ask the muse to unpublish it, and approve that too. Unpublishing stops new sales without deleting the product or its history.

• A Gumroad account, with at least one product if you want sales and payout answers
• Your product files and descriptions ready when you draft something new

What to watch for

• If a change seems to fail or times out, do not repeat it right away. Gumroad may have completed it. Ask the muse to read the product first, and only then decide whether a second try is needed. This is how duplicate products happen.
• Publishing is the sharp edge. A wrong price or a half-finished description is public the moment you approve, so treat the approval screen as the real check, not a formality.
• Sales and payout figures are only as current as Gumroad's own records. For tax or accounting decisions, confirm the totals in Gumroad itself.
• The muse prepares, you decide. Drafts are free to redo. Live products are not.
