Run the Morning Dispatch for Your Small Business
If you run a small business with jobs to schedule and customers to message, the first hour of the day is pure admin. A muse can take one morning message from you and turn it into the whole dispatch: the job board updated, the customer texted, the office manager briefed, the technician notified.
What it does
You send one message, from bed if you like, and the muse works through the morning list. It updates the job board with the day's schedule, sends the customer a text about the job, briefs the office manager, and notifies the technician. One plumbing business owner sends a single 6am message and gets the whole morning handled before the office opens.
How to use it
- Tell your muse what the morning dispatch looks like: the job board, who the customer is, who needs a text, who needs a briefing.
- Give it the details once: the job board it can update, the messaging tools it can use, what a normal job message says.
- Each morning, send one message: "Today's jobs are on the board. Text the customer, brief the office, notify the tech."
- Read back what it did before the day starts. The muse reports each step; you check the list.
What you need
- Access for your muse to your job board or scheduling tool, your messaging app, and whatever you use to brief your team, like email or Slack.
- A clear template for customer texts so the wording stays professional without you rewriting it each time.
What to watch for
Customer-facing messages are your reputation, so read every text before it goes out until you trust the wording. The muse prepares and you decide: keep the approvals on for anything a customer sees. It is normal if handing a device your business's customer list feels strange at first; you can review everything it touches and cut off access any time. If the job changes mid-morning, tell the muse the update and it re-runs the dispatch.
