Read the Activity Log to See What Your Muse Did
Every job a muse finishes leaves a record you can open: the searches it ran, the pages it visited, the steps it took, and what it plans to do next. Reading that record is the fastest way to check its work before you trust the result.
What it does
A finished answer on its own tells you very little. The activity log shows how the answer was reached. For each task, it lists the steps in order: what it searched for, which sites it opened, what it read, what it drafted, and where it stopped to ask you. It also shows planned steps, so you can see where a job is heading before it gets there. That turns trust into something you can check. If the log shows a careful path, trust the result. If it shows a wrong turn, you can catch it early, while fixing it is still cheap.
How to use it
- Open a finished task and find its activity or history view.
- Read the steps from top to bottom, the way you would read a receipt. Look for the sites it visited and the order of the steps.
- Compare the steps with what you actually asked for. A step you do not recognize is a step worth questioning.
- Check the planned steps before you approve the next stage of any job that involves money, email, or other people.
- If a step looks wrong, stop the task and correct it in plain words: "Do not use that site. Start again from my email."
- Make the log your habit for important jobs. Small jobs need a glance. Money and message jobs deserve a full read.
What you need
- A muse account
- One finished or running task to practice on
- A few minutes. Reading a log is quicker than redoing a job
What to watch for
- The log is detailed, and a long job can produce a long record. You do not need to read every line. Skim for the parts that matter: sites visited, messages drafted, files changed, and anything involving payment.
- A tidy log is not proof the result is right, so check the result itself too, especially prices, dates, and names.
- If the log shows the muse reaching a service you never meant to connect, go to your settings and remove that connection right away.
- It is normal if checking the log feels like homework at first. Start with one small task, learn what a good record looks like, and the habit gets fast.
