Plan Your Posts From What Already Worked on Your Page

Verified 2026-10-12

If you run a Facebook Page or post for a small business, a muse can plan your next round of posts from your own history. It looks at which of your posts actually did well, then builds a content plan and draft captions in that same vein.

What it does

Connect your Facebook, Instagram, and Threads accounts and the muse can read your page as it really is: the posts your audience responded to, the topics that fell flat, and the way you already talk to customers. From that record it builds a content plan with topics that fit your audience instead of any audience, plus captions shaped by the posts that performed for you before. The plan and the weekly business brief behind it hold up well in practice because they are built from your real numbers and posts, not a template. When you are ready, the same flow can carry a post through scheduling and publishing with your approval at each step.

How to use it

  1. Connect the social accounts you actually post from, so the muse sees real history and not an empty page.
  2. Ask for a plan based on the last month or two: which posts did best, what they had in common, and what to post next.
  3. Review the topics before any writing starts. Cut the ones that do not fit your business anymore and add anything the numbers cannot know about, like a sale coming up.
  4. Ask for draft captions for the posts you kept, in the style of your strongest past posts.
  5. Proofread every caption yourself, then approve each post before it is scheduled or published.

What you need

  • A Facebook Page, or a business or creator account on Instagram or Threads, with some posting history behind it.
  • Those accounts connected to your muse.
  • Approval left on for publishing, so nothing goes live without your say.

What to watch for

A page with very little history gives the muse very little to learn from, and the plan will read generic until you have a run of posts behind you. Planning is the strong side of this flow. Final assets like pages and graphics are weaker, so keep the muse on strategy, plans, and captions, and make the visuals your usual way. Proofreading is not optional: in one completed run a caption typo reached a live post, so read the exact final words before you approve, every time.
