Pitch Brands with Your Media Kit

Verified 2026-10-20

If you make content and want brand work, the pitching is a second job: find the brands, write each email, attach the proof, and chase the ones that never reply. A muse can run that whole round for you, in your voice, with follow-ups that happen on schedule.

What it does

You give the muse your niche, your audience numbers, and your media kit or portfolio link. It builds a list of brands that fit what you actually post about, not a spray of every company in the category. For each brand it drafts a short pitch that names your metrics, one or two past results, and the kit attached, written to sound like you rather than a form letter. You approve the list and the wording before anything sends. After the first round goes out, the muse sets a follow-up for each brand that has not answered, a few days later, and keeps a simple tracker: who was pitched, when, whether they replied, and what they said. Replies come to you for the real conversation. The muse handles the sending, the chasing, and the record-keeping.

How to use it

  1. Gather your honest numbers first: followers, average views or reads, and your best past result if you have one.
  2. Give the muse your media kit or portfolio, your niche in one sentence, and the kinds of brands you would and would not work with.
  3. Ask for a brand list before any emails. Cut the bad fits yourself.
  4. Read one full pitch draft closely and fix the voice. The rest should follow that one.
  5. Approve the sends, then ask for follow-ups to non-replies after a few days, with one follow-up only unless a brand engages.
  6. Check the tracker weekly and take over every live reply yourself.

What you need

  • A media kit, portfolio page, or a simple document with your metrics and past work
  • An email account the muse can send from, with approval settings on
  • A clear list of brands or product types that are off limits for you

What to watch for

  • Never let a pitch carry numbers you cannot back up. Brands check, and one padded figure ends the conversation for good.
  • One follow-up is persistence. Three is a reputation. Set the limit before the first round sends.
  • Agreeing money, usage rights, and deadlines stays with you. The muse can draft the reply, but read every term yourself before you say yes.
