Organize a Group Get-Together without the Endless Back and Forth

Verified 2026-10-20

A muse can organize a group get-together by drafting the message that collects dates and needs, sorting the replies into one table, and narrowing the group to a date and a place you confirm yourself.

What it does

You say roughly how many people are coming, when you have in mind, and the general area. The muse drafts one short, friendly message you can send to the group asking for available dates, food or activity likes, and any must-avoids such as diet needs, budget limits, kids, or access needs. When you paste the replies back, it sums them up in a table: who replied, which dates work for them, their likes, and their limits. From that table it picks the two best dates and suggests three options that fit most people, each with a price range, distance, and a plain reason it fits, linked to the real page for each place. It then drafts a follow-up message with the top choice and a quick vote, plus a final confirmation with the date, time, place, and what to bring. It ends with a short host checklist covering the reservation, any deposit, a reminder the day before, and splitting the bill. It does not send messages, book, or pay.

How to use it

  1. Give the rough group size, the time window, and the area.
  2. Copy the draft message, edit it so it sounds like you, and send it yourself.
  3. Paste the replies back as they come in, even if they are messy or partial.
  4. Read the summary table and correct anything the muse read wrong.
  5. Pick a date and a place from the short list, book it yourself, and send the confirmation draft.

What you need

  • A muse you can chat with
  • A group chat or message thread you already use with these people
  • A rough budget range for the group
  • A few minutes to check the table before you commit to a date

What to watch for

  • People who never reply can change the best date. The table only reflects the replies you paste in, so chase quiet members yourself if their answer matters.
  • Check opening hours, prices, and access details on the linked page before you book. Listings change without notice.
  • Keep private details out of the pasted replies where you can. Names and dates are enough for the sorting work.
  • The muse prepares, you decide. No message goes out and no table gets booked until you send and book it yourself.
