Order Meals by Picking Numbers From a List

Verified 2026-10-29

If a meal delivery service you use has a website that is hard to work with, a muse can clear the preset order, read the meals out as a short numbered list, and place the order from the numbers you pick.

What it does

Some meal services prefill your cart with meals they chose, and their sites can be slow, crowded, and very hard to use with a screen reader. The muse works the site for you in a simpler pattern. First it removes the prefilled meals so you start from an empty order. Then it brings you the available meals in small batches, about ten at a time, each with a number. You reply with the numbers you want, such as 5 and 8, and the muse adds those meals and shows you the next batch if you want more. When you are done, it finalizes the order on the service's own site and confirms what was ordered.

How to use it

  1. Name the meal service and the delivery week or day you are ordering for.
  2. Tell the muse to clear any prefilled meals first, and to bring you the choices ten at a time as a numbered list.
  3. Listen or read through a batch, then reply with just the numbers you want added.
  4. Ask for the running total and the full list so far whenever you want to check where the order stands.
  5. When the list is complete, tell the muse to finalize, then read its confirmation against what you picked before the delivery day.

What you need

  • A muse account, on the app or on WhatsApp
  • An account with the meal delivery service, with payment already set up on that account
  • Any firm limits that matter, such as allergies, foods you never eat, or a weekly budget

What to watch for

  • Say your hard limits at the start, every time you set up a new order pattern. A numbered list is only safe if meals you cannot eat never appear on it.
  • Check the confirmation in full. A misheard number is a wrong meal, and it is easy to fix before the order closes and hard after.
  • Prices and menus change by week and by area. Ask for the total from the actual order, not from last week's list.
  • If the site changes and the muse cannot finish, it should tell you where it stopped, so you know whether anything was ordered at all.
  • The muse builds the order, you decide what you eat.
