Make On-Brand Designs Through Canva
You can connect a Canva account to your muse so it creates new designs in your own fonts, colors, and assets, searches your design library, and exports a finished file ready to share, all from a plain conversation.
What it does
Most design work starts from a blank screen, and the first draft takes the longest. Connected, the muse hands the visual job to Canva instead. Ask for a social post, a flyer, an invitation, or a set of stories, and it builds the design using the brand fonts, colors, and assets already in your Canva account, not a generic template picked at random. It can also search the designs you already have, so a new piece can start from one that worked before. The finished design stays editable in Canva, and the muse can export a finished file that is ready to send or post. If plans change, ask for the update in the same chat.
How to use it
- Open your muse settings, find the Canva connector, and sign in to the Canva account that holds your brand fonts, colors, and past designs.
- Start with a small job in plain words: "Make a social post about our Saturday hours, using our usual colors and fonts."
- Read the first draft closely. Check the words, the dates, and whether the look matches your other posts.
- Ask for changes in the same conversation: a different photo, a shorter headline, a bigger price.
- When the design is right, ask the muse to export the finished file, and approve it before anything is posted or sent.
What you need
- A muse account in the US or Canada
- A Canva account, connected through the connector in your muse settings
- Your brand fonts, colors, and assets already saved in Canva, if you want designs to match them
- A few minutes to review each design before it goes out
What to watch for
- The muse starts the work, you finish the judgment. A design can carry the right colors and still say the wrong thing, so read every word in the exported file before you share it.
- The connector only sees the Canva account you connect. Designs and brand assets in another account stay invisible to it.
- Keep approval on for posting and sending. Nothing customer-facing should go out on a first draft you have not seen.
- It is normal if handing design work to an agent sounds strange at first. The design stays editable, the account stays yours, and you can disconnect Canva at any time.
