Let Your Muse Sign In Without Ever Seeing Your Password
Connect a password manager built for agents so that when your muse reaches a login page, the manager fills the login itself after your approval, and your muse never sees the password.
What it does
Many tasks stall at a login page: booking a table, reordering groceries, checking an order. Either you stop and sign in by hand every time, or a password gets pasted into a chat window, outside your control. This connection closes that gap. When your muse needs a login, it pauses and asks the manager for that one login. You see which login it wants and why, and approve or deny it on your own device. If you approve, the manager types the login straight into the form. Once the site accepts it, the credential is removed so the muse cannot read or replay it later. Each approval covers one login for one task.
How to use it
- Join the waitlist for the agent version of your password manager if access has not arrived.
- Check your plan and region first. The feature is included with individual and family plans at launch, and some regional accounts are not supported yet.
- Save the logins you want in your vault before you start. If a login is not saved, the task stops at the login page.
- Connect the manager in your muse settings, and set approvals to ask you first.
- Start with a small task on an account with no saved card. Check the request matches the task, then approve it on your own device.
- After the first few sign-ins, open each account and check orders and messages.
What you need
- A muse account
- A password manager individual or family plan that includes the agent feature, with logins saved in the vault
- A place in the rollout, which may mean joining a waitlist first
- Two-step verification left on for the accounts that matter
What to watch for
- Hiding the password does not limit the account itself. Once signed in, the muse can do what that account allows.
- Keep email and banking out at the start. An email account can reset every other password you own, and a bank is where a mistake costs real money.
- Never paste a password into a chat, even to your muse. Let the manager fill it after your approval, or sign in yourself.
- The connection is optional and reversible. You can disconnect it at any time. The muse asks, you approve, and that approval is the safety model.
