Keep Your Todoist Lists Current by Talking to Your Muse

You can connect a Todoist account to your muse so it finds, adds, and updates your tasks and projects from a plain conversation, and the follow-ups from a call land in your list without you copying them over by hand.

What it does

A to-do list only helps if it stays current, and updating it by hand is the step that gets skipped. Connected, the muse does the list work for you. Ask what is due this week, or which top priority tasks are due today, and it reads your real lists for the answer. Tell it the follow-ups from a call and it adds each one to the right project, with the day you name. It can rename a task, move it to a different project, or push it to a new date when plans change. In a shared project it can assign a task to a teammate. It can also sort the tasks sitting in your Todoist Inbox into the projects they belong to.

How to use it

1. Open the muse app and go to Settings, then Connectors.
2. Select Connect next to Todoist, sign in to your Todoist account yourself, and approve the permissions shown.
3. Start with a read: "What is due this week?" Check the answer against your list.
4. Add one real task in plain words: "Add send the invoice to my Work project for Friday."
5. Once the small jobs land correctly, hand it a batch: "Add the follow-ups from today's call to Todoist, each in the right project."

What you need

• A muse account, with access in the US or Canada
• A Todoist account on any plan
• Approvals left on for important actions, which is the default

What to watch for

• You sign in to Todoist yourself during setup, so the muse never sees your Todoist password.
• This connection can read and change your task data. Check each change before you confirm it, especially reschedules and assignments to other people.
• A task added to the wrong project is easy to miss. Spot-check the first few batches in Todoist itself until the muse's choices match yours.
• Disconnecting stops new access, but task details the muse already used can stay in its memory and your chat history. If you want those gone, ask the muse to forget them.
• It is normal if an agent editing your lists feels strange at first. You can review what it remembers, change when it asks for approval, or disconnect Todoist at any time. The muse prepares, you decide.
