Have the Muse Build Your Playlists
Connect Spotify to a muse and it can build playlists from a conversation, save them to your library, and start music on a schedule, like the right playlist for the 7 a.m. run without you touching the app.
What it does
Once the two services are connected, you talk about what you want to hear and the muse handles the rest. Ask for a driving playlist inspired by your destination and have it scheduled to start when you set off. Ask it to resume the podcast you fell asleep to last night, or to play a saved playlist on the kitchen speaker. It can also create a Personal Podcast: your daily briefings, notes, and ideas turned into audio, saved right to your Spotify library. The integration has been one of the muse's connectors since launch, and it works through plain conversation, not menus.
How to use it
- Connect Spotify in the muse app under Settings, then Connectors, or just ask the muse to connect your Spotify account.
- Describe the listening, not the tracks: "Build a driving playlist for the trip to the lake, upbeat, about three hours, and start it when we leave Saturday morning."
- Schedule by routine: "Play my focus playlist during tomorrow's 9 to 11 work block," or "Start my running mix at 7 every weekday."
- Turn notes into audio: "Turn this note into something I can listen to on the drive." The Personal Podcast lands in your Spotify library.
- Skim the playlist before the moment matters. A road trip deserves a quick scroll to make sure the vibe matches.

What to watch for
A playlist is a guess, and taste is personal, so check the songs before a big trip or a party. The Personal Podcast is synthesized audio of your own notes and briefings, not a studio show, and it will only ever be as good as the notes you feed it. Keep the muse's approvals on; it checks before sensitive actions, and you can disconnect the Spotify connector any time in Settings.
