Hand Over the Whole Errand List for the Day

Verified 2026-10-15

A muse can work through a whole day of small errands from one list: buying a household item, ordering groceries, booking a service, and picking a dinner option, one by one, while you get on with your day.

What it does

Single errands are easy. The drag is the pile: four or five unrelated jobs, each with its own site, form, and checkout, spread across an afternoon. A muse handles the pile as one job. You write the list in order, with any limits that matter, and it works down the list. For each item it picks the cheapest sensible option that fits what you asked for, books or orders where you have allowed it, and keeps a running note of what each thing cost. When the list is done, you get one report covering what was bought, what was booked, what each item cost, and anything it could not finish. Jobs that need a choice you did not cover get flagged in that report instead of guessed at.

How to use it

  1. Write the day's errands as a short numbered list, in the order you want them handled.
  2. Add the limits in the same message: a spending cap per order, preferred stores or services, and any time windows.
  3. Say plainly that anything over the cap needs your approval before it is ordered or booked.
  4. Let the muse work through the list, and answer approval prompts as they come up.
  5. Read the final report and check each confirmation in your own email or accounts.

What you need

  • A muse account, with the stores and services you use signed in where needed
  • A written list with amounts, preferences, and time windows
  • A payment method set up for the orders you expect

What to watch for

Caps do the real work in this setup. Without a per order limit, a helpful agent can spend more than you meant on a routine item, so set the number before the run starts. Keep the first list short, three or four items, until you have seen one full report and trust the pattern. Availability changes during the day, so a booking or delivery slot in the report should be checked against its confirmation message. If an item on the list is vague, expect a question or a flagged note rather than a good guess. The muse works the list, you decide the limits and check the results.
