Get Your Figma Files Explained in Plain Words

確認済み 2026-10-29

You can connect Figma to your muse so it reads your design files and explains them in plain words: what a screen does, how a flow fits together, and which fixes matter.

What it does

Design files hold product decisions, and the person who needs an answer is often not the person who made the file. Connected, the muse reads the files your Figma account can open. Ask for a summary of a file you have not opened in weeks: what it covers, what it leaves out, and how many screens it holds. Ask it to walk through a flow screen by screen and flag any step that looks confusing, has no way back, or leads nowhere. Ask it to pull out the words on the screens, such as button labels and error messages, and flag the ones that sound unclear, with shorter rewrites you can check in the layout. Hand it a pile of feedback and it turns the pile into a punch list, one fix per line, grouped by screen.

How to use it

  1. Open the muse app and go to Settings, then Connectors.
  2. Select Connect next to Figma, sign in with the Figma account that has access to the files, and approve the permissions shown.
  3. Set approvals so anything that edits, moves, or deletes waits for you.
  4. Test with one read: ask the muse to describe one file and list its screens, then check the answer against the file.
  5. Ask for the flow walk and the punch list next, and check each item before anyone acts on it.
  6. Do the editing yourself in Figma, using the muse's lists as your guide.

What you need

  • A muse account, with access in the US, Canada, or Japan
  • A Figma account with access to the files you want read
  • Time to act on the fix list yourself, or a designer who will

What to watch for

  • Use this connection to read and explain. Editing frames and components is work to do in Figma itself, not something to hand over on the strength of a summary.
  • The muse only sees files your connected account can open. A link on its own is not access, and files in another account stay invisible.
  • A file can change while you are asking about it, so a summary can describe an older version. Check anything that drives a decision against the file itself.
  • A messy file gives messy answers. Named frames and a clear page structure make every summary after that far more accurate.
