Get a Daily News Podcast by RSS
A muse can make a short news podcast for you on a schedule, save each episode in your library, and give you an RSS feed you can add to the podcast player you already use.
What it does
Instead of opening five news apps each morning, you name the topics you follow and the muse builds a recurring audio briefing. It writes and produces a short episode with two voices, files it where you can find it later, and publishes it to a private feed. Add that feed to your usual player once, and new episodes show up there like any other show you follow.
This is different from asking for one episode about one topic. The value is the routine: same time, same topics, same place, without you rebuilding the request each day.
How to use it
- Name two or three topics you actually follow, and say what to leave out.
- Ask: "Make me a short daily news podcast on these topics, save each episode in my library, and give me the RSS feed link."
- Add the feed link to your podcast player.
- Listen to the first few episodes with the dates in mind, and tell the muse which stories felt stale, thin, or off topic.
- Tighten the topic list after a week. A narrow brief stays useful longer than a broad one.
What you need
- A muse account
- A podcast player that accepts a feed link
- A short list of topics and a delivery time
What to watch for
Check dates before you repeat anything from an episode. A polished episode can still be late, and a story that was true on Monday may have moved by Wednesday. Open the source links for claims that matter, especially numbers and quotes. If an episode keeps covering ground you do not care about, cut that topic rather than skipping episodes. The muse prepares the briefing, you decide what to trust and pass on.
