Forward the Thread to Your Muse

Verified 2026-10-12

Your muse can have its own email address. Add it to a thread or forward a message to it, and the muse picks the task up from the email itself instead of waiting for you to retype the whole story in the app.

What it does

Plenty of errands arrive as email: a booking confirmation that needs a change, a group thread that needs a reply, a bill or a form someone sent you. Instead of copying the details into a chat, you forward the message to your muse or add its address to the thread with a short note on what you want done. The muse reads the thread, pulls out the dates, names, and reference numbers it needs, and starts the job: drafting the reply, checking the booking, or gathering the paperwork. It works in the background and comes back to you for approval before anything is sent or changed. It is normal if that sounds strange at first. An assistant with its own inbox is a new idea, and you stay in charge of what it may act on.

How to use it

  1. Find your muse email address in the app settings and save it as a contact.
  2. Pick one simple thread to start with, such as a confirmation or a routine request.
  3. Forward it to your muse and add one plain line at the top saying what you want, for example: please draft a reply asking to move this to Friday.
  4. Review what it prepares. Check names, dates, and numbers before you approve anything it sends.
  5. Widen the range slowly once the first few threads come back right.

What you need

  • A Muse account with the muse email address enabled for your account
  • The thread or message you want handled, forwarded or shared with that address
  • Approval left on for sending, so nothing goes out without your say

What to watch for

Check whether the email address is enabled on your account before you rely on it, since new features reach accounts at different times. Be careful what you forward: a thread can carry details about other people, so forward only what the task needs. Treat unexpected messages with the same care you would in your own inbox, and never forward passwords or payment details. Read its memory of you any time and edit or clear it if something is wrong. The muse prepares, you decide.
