Compare Sellers for the Exact Item You Want Across Many Stores

Verified 2026-11-01

When you know the exact item you want, your muse can search a product catalog spanning many stores at once, line up the sellers offering that item, and confirm the exact size, color, and version before you buy.

What it does

Shopping for one known item means opening the same search on six store sites and keeping the tabs straight. The catalog search does that sweep in one pass. Name the product, the brand, and the non-negotiable details, such as size, color, material, or a price ceiling, and your muse searches many merchants with those requirements on every result. Each result carries the store, price and any real sale price, a rating where one exists, and the kind of seller, from the brand itself or an authorized retailer to a secondhand or gray-market listing. When you ask where to buy one specific item or where it is cheapest, the results come back as that item from several stores, side by side. Before buying, your muse checks the variants and confirms the combination you asked for, treating an unavailable one as unavailable rather than a near match.

How to use it

  1. Name the item as exactly as you can: brand, line, size, color, and your price ceiling.
  2. Say which details are firm and which are flexible. Firm details are never dropped to find more results.
  3. Ask: "Where can I get this, and what does it cost at each store?"
  4. Compare the list on total terms, not headline price alone: seller kind, rating, and sale price against regular price.
  5. Before you buy, ask your muse to confirm the exact variant is selected and available, then check out through the route it gives you.

What you need

  • A muse account
  • The item details that matter: brand or model, plus size, color, or fit where they apply
  • A price ceiling if you have one

What to watch for

  • A catalog result is a snapshot. Price, stock, and delivery can change at the store, so the final check happens on the confirmed variant before payment.
  • Seller kind matters. A low price from a gray market or secondhand listing is a different offer from the brand selling the same item, and the results label which is which.
  • Firm requirements stay firm. If the exact size and color combination is not available, your muse reports that rather than offering a different one.
  • Similar is not the same. For a cheaper alternative, ask for that as a separate search, so the two lists never mix.
