Check Whether Your Ad Is Allowed Before You Run It

確認済み 2026-11-01

Your muse can check a Facebook or Instagram ad idea against Meta's advertising policy text before you build the campaign, so you learn whether the ad is allowed, restricted, or needs permission first.

What it does

Ad rules are long, and a rejected ad usually fails on one specific rule the advertiser never saw. Your muse checks policy questions against Meta's canonical policy source, which returns the policy title, exact wording, and official links. That covers everyday questions, such as whether a claim, an image, a logo, or someone else's trademark can appear in an ad, and harder ones, such as which products are prohibited outright and which need written permission or certification before they can run. The answer comes from the retrieved policy text, not a summary page or a guess. When the text cannot be confirmed, your muse says so and points you to Meta's Ad Standards. No ad account is needed to ask.

How to use it

  1. Write the question in your own words, with the product or claim named: "Can I advertise this in an ad on Facebook?"
  2. Ask before you pay for creative or build the campaign, not after a rejection.
  3. Read the policy wording your muse returns, and follow the link if you want the full text.
  4. If the answer is a restriction, follow the eligibility path it names, such as a certification or written permission, before you plan any setup.
  5. If your muse says the policy could not be confirmed, treat that as a stop sign and check Ad Standards yourself instead of running the ad anyway.

What you need

  • A muse account
  • The ad idea, wording, or product you want checked, described plainly
  • An ad account only if you later want your muse to build or change the campaign itself

What to watch for

  • Some categories are prohibited, and others need certification or written permission first. A restricted answer is the answer, not a puzzle to word your way around, and your muse will not help phrase an ad to slip past review.
  • A policy check is general information, not legal advice. For a legality question, use the official guidance or a qualified professional.
  • Policy answers are only as good as the retrieved text. If no matching policy title covers your question, your muse says it could not confirm the policy rather than filling the gap from memory.
  • Passing a policy check does not promise an ad will perform. It only settles whether the ad may run.
