Catch the Discount Codes Before You Check Out
Almost every store has a discount code floating around somewhere, and almost nobody has time to hunt for them. A muse can do the hunting: it finds working codes for your cart, tests them, and applies the best one before you pay, so you stop leaving money on the checkout page.
What it does
Tell the muse what you are buying and where. It opens your cart, searches coupon sites and the store's own promos for current codes, and tries them against the cart to see which one actually saves the most. Then it shows you the winning total and waits for your approval before anything is charged. This is tested, real behavior: buyers have had muses find live codes that cut a scooter's price below the warehouse-club price by about a hundred dollars, and apply the cheapest combination of codes at checkout for clothing orders. The muse does in a minute what would take you twenty tabs and a pile of expired codes.
How to use it
- Put the items in your cart like normal, on the store's site or app.
- Tell the muse the store and what is in the cart: "Find the best working discount code for my cart at this store and apply it."
- Let it search and test. It reports which code won and by how much.
- Read the final total, including shipping and tax, then approve the purchase yourself. The muse never pays without your yes.

What to watch for
Not every code works. Some are expired, some are single-use, and some only apply to certain items. The muse tests them against your actual cart instead of guessing, so dead codes cost you nothing but a few seconds. Codes almost never stack, so the muse picks the single best one rather than pretending two will combine. If the store blocks automated checkout entirely (Amazon does), the muse hands you the winning code and the link, and you paste it in yourself. Either way, read the final total before you approve: delivery fees and taxes are where surprises hide.
