Audit Your YouTube Channel from End to End

Verified 2026-10-27

Your muse can audit your whole YouTube channel from end to end: every video, title, thumbnail, and description read as one body of work, with a written report that ranks what to fix first.

What it does

A channel grows one upload at a time, and nobody goes back to look at the whole thing. Old videos carry weak titles, descriptions stop halfway, playlists drift, and the videos that quietly earn the most watch time never get a follow-up. A muse can do the full sweep a creator has no weekend for. It works through the channel's catalog and checks the parts a viewer meets first: whether titles say clearly what each video delivers, whether thumbnails read at a glance, whether descriptions carry the links and context they should, and which topics earn attention again and again. It writes the findings up as one report, ordered by likely gain, so the best fixes sit at the top. The report is advice, not action. Nothing on the channel changes until you approve each fix.

How to use it

  1. Tell the muse which channel to audit and what the channel is for: the audience you want and the kind of videos you plan to keep making.
  2. Ask for the full sweep: "Read every video on the channel. Check titles, thumbnails, descriptions, and playlists, and tell me which topics perform best."
  3. Ask for the report in a set order: the five fixes most likely to matter, then the catalog patterns, then the small cleanups.
  4. Pick one fix from the top of the list and ask the muse to draft it, for example new titles for the three strongest old videos.
  5. Approve or reject each draft yourself, publish the ones you like, and watch those videos for a few weeks before the next round.

What you need

  • A muse account
  • A YouTube channel with videos already published
  • A short statement of who the channel is for, so the audit judges against your aim and not a generic one

What to watch for

  • An audit can only judge what is on the page. It cannot see private analytics you do not share, so share watch-time figures if you want the ranking based on more than titles and topics.
  • Resist fixing everything at once. Changing twenty titles in a day makes it impossible to tell which change helped.
  • Old videos sometimes earn steady search traffic exactly as they are. If a plain title is already bringing viewers in, leave it alone and let the report move on.
