Ask When the Next Train Reaches Your Station

Verified 2026-10-13

A muse can check live train information for your station and tell you when the next train will arrive, using its browser and your location to give you a straight answer in the moment.

What it does

Standing on a platform guessing is normal. Timetables show the plan, not the day. A muse can open the live information for your line, find your station, and report when the next train is due and where it is right now. You ask in plain words, the way you would ask a person next to you, and it does the looking up. That turns a vague wait into a decision: stay put, grab a coffee, or switch routes before you are late.

How to use it

  1. Tell the muse which station you are at, or let it use your phone location if you are comfortable sharing it.
  2. Ask a plain question: when is the next train from here, and where is it now?
  3. Read the answer and check the line and direction before you act on it. A train heading the wrong way helps no one.
  4. If the next train is far off, ask the muse to check the nearest alternate route or station.
  5. Ask again before you leave a connection. Live times change while you travel.

What you need

  • A Muse account
  • Your station name, or location sharing turned on for the check
  • A line with live information published online

What to watch for

Live data is only as good as the feed behind it. If the transit system is reporting delays badly that day, the muse will repeat bad times with confidence, so glance at the station board when you can. Location sharing is your call: it is normal if handing an agent your location sounds strange, and you can type the station name instead and share nothing. Keep the question narrow. One station, one direction, one answer is the version that works.
